Square Payments Setup

Menu > Locations > Edit > Integrations

You can set up credit card processing while editing each of your locations — simply head to the “Integrations” tab (Menu > Locations > Edit > Integrations), then find “Enable Credit Card Processing” and check the box to enable.

Square Terminal (Recommended) #

Note: only for Square Terminal Hardware users

  1. Go to Locations > Edit > Integrations and make sure “Credit Card Processing” is enabled
  2. Select “Square Terminal” dropdown
  3. Click the “Connect to Square” button that appears
  4. Set up (or login) to your Square account
  5. In the Square iOS app, go to More > Settings > Hardware > Square Terminal
  6. Connect your Square Terminal to the Square iOS app
  7. You can now process credit card payments with LyncPOS!

Square iOS #

Note: For all other Square Hardware users (ex: Square Reader)

  1. Download the Square iOS application
  2. Set up (or login) to your Square account
  3. In the Square iOS app, go to More > Settings > Hardware
  4. Connect your Square Hardware to the Square iOS app using bluetooth
  5. Download the LyncPOS iOS app
  6. Login to your LyncPOS account
  7. Go to Locations > Edit > Integrations and make sure “Credit Card Processing” is enabled
  8. Make sure “Square iOS” is selected
  9. You can now process credit card payments with LyncPOS!

Square Processing Fees #

  • In-Person: 2.6% + $0.10 per transaction
  • Online: 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction
  • Manually Entered: 3.5% + $0.15 per transaction
  • Invoices: 3.3% + $0.30 per transaction
